Delete your account

You can erase your Slow Flora account and all your data at any time.

From inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Slow Flora on your device.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm twice. Your account and all associated data are erased immediately.

By email (if you can't access the app)

Email us from the address you used to sign in:

• To: grow@slowflora.com
• Subject: Delete my account
• Body: any note that confirms you want to delete your account

We'll process the request within 7 days and email you a confirmation when it's done.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently erased from our systems:

• Your email address and display name
• All plants you've added
• All diary entries, including text and photos
• All chat messages with your plants
• Your light readings
• Your push notification token
• Any pending one-time sign-in codes

What is retained, and for how long

For security purposes, we may keep basic technical logs (IP address, request timestamps) for up to 30 days. These logs do not contain your plants, diary, photos, or messages.

Encrypted database backups, if any, are rotated and overwritten within 30 days, after which no copy of your data remains.

What is NOT deleted

If you have an active subscription via Google Play, deleting your Slow Flora account does not cancel the subscription — Google handles billing. To cancel the subscription, also visit Google Play → Subscriptions.
